Pennies for Patients

Pennies do count!

Each year, St. Barnabas Charities sponsors the Pennies for Patients campaign to enhance the lives of patients at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas and The Arbors at St. Barnabas.

The 2010 campaign will officially began on Feb. 12, President Lincoln's Birthday. The campaign runs through June. Local schools, businesses, community organizations and individuals are asked to collect pennies to benefit the patients. The pennies are then turned into medicine, medical supplies, food and other items for people who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford their care.

That's why every penny counts!

The goal for the 2010 campaign is to raise more than 3 million pennies for patients. Please consider supporting this worthwhile campaign, donations may be deposited into special Pennies for Patients containers, (on display at Subway Restaurants and local businesses) or you can hold a fundraiser.

Hold a fundraiser to benefit Pennies for Patients!

Many groups hold special events and activities to raise money for Pennies for Patients. Examples of fun, easy fundraisers include car washes, spaghetti dinners, pancake breakfasts, special prize raffles, bake sales, etc.
